ANTH 444 TEACHING ANTHROPOLOGY

Prerequisite: Junior standing or above in anthropology and permission of instructor.

We are developing this course for Fall 1997, in which we explore how best to impart cross-cultural research methods and knowledge. To ths end, in this course for advanced anthropology majors, students will attend department's survey course and meet regularly to discuss course readings and instructor lectures. They will run study and test review sessions for survey course students, and carry out interviews and course analysis with students. As a capstone experience, each student will have an opportunity to make a presentation to the survey course.
